You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.
By default, the newest version of WordPress is pretty darn secure. The development team of WordPress has considered anything which may have been added to any fix malware problem plugins. In the past , WordPress did have holes but now most of them are filled up.
You can look. If your site is hacked by hackers, it is easy to restore your site with the use of your backup files and change everything that has to be changed.
Move your wp-config.php file up one directory from the WordPress root. WordPress will look for it if it cannot be found in the root directory. Also, nobody will be able to read the file unless they have FTP or SSH access to your server.
You can also make a firewall that blocks hackers. From coming to your files, the firewall prevents the hacker. You must have version of Apache. Upgrade your PHP also. It's important that your system is that site always filled with upgrades.
